Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question about the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards? If it's not listed below, please email KPBA@maxim-pr.co.uk and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
01
Can I nominate someone to win an award?
No. Entrants have to submit examples of their work so must complete the entry form themselves. That said, if you know someone you think deserves an award, why not give them a nudge to enter?
02
How do I fill in the entry form?
There is a Word form or a PDF - use whichever you prefer. You can download something like Acrobat Reader to fill in the PDF online. Then email, post or hand deliver it.
03
I'm a press officer/PR/comms pro. Can I enter?
Unfortunately these are not the awards you're looking for. The Kent Press & Broadcast Awards are open to any print, broadcast or online journalist whose audience is primarily in Kent.
04
What are the qualifying dates for examples of work?
Publication dates for all samples of work must be between 5 May 2023 and 19 April 2024.
05
When's the deadline for entries?
Entries must be received by 5pm on Friday, 19 April 2024.
06
Can I submit examples of work as hard copies?
Yes - absolutely! We have assumed that it will be easier for people to enter online but if that's not the case, please submit four copies of each sample of work, whether that be a single article or an entire magazine. Please email KPBA@maxim-pr.co.uk to arrange this.
07
How can I submit large files?
Use something like WeTransfer or Dropbox – just remember to include a covering note so we know which entry they belong to.
